AI coding assistants can use this documentation to explain concepts and draft integration code, but generated code must still be reviewed and tested in sandbox.

Safe prompting

Provide the endpoint, desired language and non-sensitive sample data. Never paste a real API key, webhook secret, customer document or production payload into a third-party assistant.

Verification checklist

• Confirm the base URL and X-API-Key header.
• Verify monetary values are integer cents.
• Add deterministic idempotency keys to write operations.
• Validate webhook signatures against the raw request body.
• Test timeouts, duplicate events and 4xx/5xx responses in sandbox.
