Glossary
The main terms used throughout the dashboard and API documentation.
API key
A server credential that identifies a KyvoPay account and environment.
Idempotency key
A client-generated identifier that lets the same write operation be retried without creating a duplicate.
Pix charge
A request for a payer to transfer a specific amount through Pix.
Public id
The stable identifier returned by KyvoPay for a resource and used in later API calls.
Request id
A unique identifier for an HTTP request, useful for logs and support.
Webhook
An authenticated server-to-server notification sent when a resource changes state.
Ledger
The ordered financial entries that explain changes to an account balance.
